Nick Carraway makes his way over to the Buchanan's mansion and met his charming second cousin, once removed, Daisy. He also caught up with Tom Buchanan and met Jordan Baker, who he found scary, but beautiful. He sees how Tom has a woman in New York and how racist he is, and sees Daisy is charming but she is sad, she almost seems empty and all that's left is the outer shell she fools people with.
