I, Socrates

From the last two days of observing the class, I learned that Socrates would rather die than give up learning. It was inspirational the way he would not let others restrict him, so instead ended things all together in order to prove a point. This taught me that I should not submit to others and their beliefs and hold onto my own. This helped me think more about not conforming to the ideas of others; that I should always be myself no matter what. This Socratic seminar informed me well about Socrates as a person and his believes, that have informed people and got them thinking all throughout history.
