Gatsby Chapter 5 notes

- Gatsby was admiring his house when Nick came
- Gatsby was eager to hear his reply and Nick told him he would invite Daisy over for tea
Gatsby wanted to give something back to Nick, but Nick declines the offer
- Gatsby sent someone to fix up Nick's yard and brought flowers in
- when the day came Gatsby was nervous to meet Daisy after 5 years
- they met and at first it was awkward but then after half an hour they were all over each other
-Gatsby couldn't take his eyes off her
- He showed them around his mansion and gave them a tour
- He seemed to want Daisy to approve of everything
- Daisy cried
-They ignored Nick and were in their little world and Nick saw this
-Gatsby didn't seem to want the day to end
